We label a depressed state “bad.” Is that arbitrary conditioning?

Do you feel yourself trying to tighten controls and to think your way to certitude?

Acting piously without being pious is the darkest hypocrisy, underlying our resentment of others, and our own self-loathing.

Fall on your knees, as you would to revere a king? Or in exhaustion, like a “weary world rejoicing”?
