The Universe is me

As far as my relationship with the universe . . . well, we’ve actually become very good friends. I even came to love and trust her when, in a quiet moment, I looked deeply into her eyes and realized that she, was me.

Christmas isn’t too big

Sometimes it seems like I can’t grasp God’s plan, like it’s too big, too unknowably mysterious. Then I think, this time of year, of a simple baby in swaddling clothes lying atop manger hay. I’m a dad, and still drawn to babies. That’s not too big and mysterious .
